Dear LPN Members,
Here is our first LPN e-Newsletter for the new decade. Happy 2010! And thank you to all the contributors to this edition.
Our organization certainly has no shortage of talent as is shown in the wealth of diverse articles displaying our expertise in effective Life Planning practices in the Second Half of Life.
You will also find a recap of the LPN sponsored Life Planning Pre-Conference in Florida this past December 2009. It was a great success! And find news and event listings also.
Hope 2010 is a productive and fulfilling year for all of our LPN members.
Best Regards,
Moira "Mo" Lanier

Our chapter of 15 members met in the fall to approve our vision and four annual initiatives. Each member volunteered to serve on at least one working committee to implement the following initiatives: Quarterly Program Meetings, Business/Career Development Group, Third Age Ambassadors, and the Renewment Group.
Three of our Chesapeake LPN members attended the 2009 Life Planning Pre-Conference/National Conference on Positive Aging: Dorothy Keenan, Sara Walser, and Candy Spitz. Our panel will present highlights from the conference at our January 2010 Quarterly Meeting.
